Ss. Peter and Paul Yeadon Young Apprentice Challenge 2024
Year 6 pupils at Ss Peter and Paul Primary School are each given a ‘loan’ and asked to be creative about how they could turn that into a profitable business.
This year, pupils raised a fantastic £3,259. This will now be split between their class charity, a local community project of their choice, a gift to the school and a treat trip for Year 6 (also of their choice).
The former winner of the Young Apprentice initiative, and a current Year 7 St. Mary’s Menston pupil, Iris Bentham, was invited back to school as a Guest Judge.
Iris was a fantastic advisor. During the day Iris was polite and professional at all times. Iris made encouraging and insightful comments and raised excellent questions to the young apprentice. It was a pleasure to see Iris again and have her back in school. Iris was an inspiration to our Year 6 pupils.
